Soil Testing
The UConn Soil Nutrient Analysis lab is set up to do soil testing for the home gardener. It's simple and only $8 per sample. Click here for soil sampling instructions and application form or visit UConn's Department of Plant Science web site for more information.
Gardening Zones
Newly updated USDA Gardening Zones put most of Connecticut in Zone 6 with some of the Northwest corner in Zone 5. All plants in this catalog and at our sale are Connecticut hardy.

Pre-Ordering
Gardeners who pre-order will be invited to our early opening for the best selection of perennials and other plants. At the event your order will be carefully assembled and ready for pick up.
NCD Trout Stocking
Our Spring Trout Sale is due to be held on Saturday April 21 and Sunday April 22.
Trout (9-11" each) will be delivered to your pond or stream
