It is with heavy hearts that the North Central Conservation District would like to acknowledge the untimely passing of Michael Gragnolati. As a respected soil scientist in the region and wetland agent for the town of Windsor Locks, District staff worked alongside Mike on countless projects, confirming wetland lines together and ensuring that wetlands and wildlife were protected. Mike had a passion for his work, and will be missed on both a professional and personal level. Our deepest condolences go out to his family.
We are touched that his family has chosen to direct donations to the North Central Conservation District, and plan to allocate these funds toward annual scholarships that NCCD awards to deserving senior high school students about to embark on a college education with a focus on agriculture and natural resources.
